What we collect

• Email address, hashed SLAM key, registration status, verification token, timestamps.
• Information you type in forms (e.g., name, cohort, address) is emailed to the SLAM admin but not stored in the database.

Why we collect it

• To operate the double opt-in registration and email you your SLAM access key.
• To contact you if you consent and to process key reset requests.
• To respond to messages sent via the contact form.

Cookies

• Session cookie to keep you signed in during a visit.
• slam_gate gate cookie (value “1”) for 60 days to remember you passed the confidentiality wall.

Retention

• Email + hashed key and status are kept until you ask for deletion; key resets replace the stored hash.
• Verification tokens expire after 48 hours.

Security

• Keys are hashed; plaintext keys are only sent to you via email.
• reCAPTCHA is used to reduce spam; Google may process IP and browser data.

Your choices

• Request deletion: email contact@slamsupport.org and we will remove your record.
• Reset key: use the reset form to generate a new key and invalidate the old one.
